I once was sent an angel
that came from the glacial land.
In its beauty I marvelled
for all my beaus had come from sand.
In awe of its radiance, creeping barefoot
I watched it walk.
In gracious indifference,
one thousand words and
it didn't talk.
Shine brightly, shine brightly.
I'm flying, I might be.
Its words they floated softly,
Air too coarse for their brush
And so it continued thusly,
My house of cards,
My King high flush.
Shine brightly, shine brightly.
I'm flying, I might be.
Brightest beacon in existence,
Coax me softly from the distance.
